PRACTICAL YACHT BROKERAGE COURSE -
October 18th-19th 2010, Marwell Hotel, Southampton

ABYA's Practical Yacht Brokerage two-day intensive course is highly beneficial as an introduction to professional brokerage for non-members as well as offering essential training for existing member brokers seeking to maintain their professionalism and competitive edge.

Course leader Owen Box, a former ABYA President, has brokerage experience over many years. The speakers on the course are marine industry professionals in their specialist fields and provide topical and instructive lectures relating to Marine Law, VAT, Insurance, Marine Finance, Registration, the Internet, Selling Skills, Surveying & the RCD, plus an insight into new boat sales.

A year's free membership of ABYA is available to delegates on successful completion of the course, providing they are working as brokers and have PI insurance.

ABYA holds its Practical Yacht Brokerage Course three times a year. The next course dates have been set for Monday 21st - Tuesday 22nd February 2011, again at the Marwell Hotel, Southampton.
