Marketing Manager for OceanStyle

Key Responsibilities
· Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing plan for OceanStyle
· Support and facilitate development and implementation of business/ marketing plans
· Translating business objectives and strategies to develop brand portfolio objectives, strategies and plans to facilitate business unit growth
· Develop marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment policy, nature of market, copyright and royalty requirements, and cost and mark-up factors
· Plan and administer the company's Marketing Operations budget
· Negotiate with suppliers the best possible rates
· Develop and manage promotional materials including marketing collateral and print copies
· Assisting brokers in planning for client presentations
· Development of key messages for all audiences to communicate our core brand identity
· Lead designers and internal team where appropriate to execute all communication activities and public relations (marketing materials, advertising, client communications, direct mail, marketing campaigns, press releases, content for trade publications, etc.)
· Oversee the writing of press releases, copy for marketing materials, advertisements, and other related material
· Manage media relations, research editorial opportunities and build relationships with key industry media
· Manage day to day activity with PR, press and marketing communications agencies.
· Liaise with Burgess (sister company) marketing department

Person Specification
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following personal qualities:
Essential
· A proven ability to use Microsoft Office products to intermediate level
· Excellent organisational and negotiation skills
· Excellent level of written and spoken English and numeracy
· Attention to detail, and conscientiousness to record information accurately
· Capability to work independently and take initiative but also be an excellent team player
· Be able to adjust manner to suit the audience or topic, displays a tactful and fair approach
· A good sense of humour
· Knowledge of yachting and understanding of this area, or experience of dealing with high net worth individuals would be of benefit to any applicant
Desirable (but not essential)
· Knowledge of other languages
· Experienced traveller, knowledge of countries
